After an enforced break in 2020 because of COVID, the Pipal Tree annual dinner will be held once again at The Victory Services Club (VSC), near Marble Arch in London, on 30th November 2021. VSC is an exclusive club that is normally open only to Servicemen, Veterans and their families, but once a year the club opens its doors to Pipal Tree's supporters for a memorable evening of fine dining and great company.

The Victory Services Club

The cost of the event will be covered entirely by a generous corporate sponsor, with attendance by invitation only. The dinner gives guests an opportunity to meet Trustees, volunteers, and celebrity Patrons very informally - in spite of the setting! Our event is unusual as charity dinners go because we refuse to treat it as an opportunity for "hard-sell", eschewing holding those toe-curling auctions and raffles in favour of giving supporters, actual and potential, an enjoyable evening where they can learn more about our very special work in Nepal. On the evening, our Founder, Philip Holmes, always gives a short presentation that covers what we have achieved over the past year and how guests can help our work in 2022 through the Big Give Christmas Appeal that launches on the same day.

It being a weekday evening, it will be an early start with drinks at 6.30 p.m.; the dinner will be over by 9.30 although the nice people at the VSC always keep the cash bar open for a little longer.

If you would like to be considered for the guest list, please contact Philip to let him know how you might be able to help us through The Big Give appeal.
